University Preparation College
Learn English in Australia
University Preparation College is a Registered Training Organisation based in Sydney, Australia. In 2018 we will open a campus in Melbourne.
We have been in operation since 2004, and the college was started by a group of academics from University of NSW and UTS. We are best known for our Diploma of Childcare, but we also provided courses in Accounting, Leadership and Management and ELICOS (English) for international students.
As well as our international CRICOS-approved courses, we also have a large domestic program with 50% of our students being from the local community. This gives our international students a chance to mix with local people, and further improve their language and cultural skills.
The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC), and Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care are the most popular of our courses.
This gives our students the opportunity to “earn while they learn.” Shortly after beginning study, the students are able to work in the childcare industry, which is rapidly growing in Australia. Upon graduating with the Certificate III they have official status. An eighteen-month graduate work visa available after they gain the Diploma.
We are particularly proud of our English programs. With a high-quality curriculum, our English program provides pathways to many colleges and universities.
UPC’s vocational education programs are a mixture of up-to-date theory mixed with practical work experience and skills. Our diploma and advanced diploma graduates can articulate directly to the second year of a bachelor degree at many Australian universities.
Our teachers are carefully chosen for their expertise and teaching skills. They provide, not only the best quality training, but also the experience of learning in a friendly and supportive environment.
