Bolton is located 20 miles from the city of Manchester. Bolton is a large and busy commercial centre surrounded by beautiful countryside and country parks. The locals are understandably proud of the Premiership football club, Bolton Wanderers FC, based at the recently constructed Reebok Stadium next to the wonderful sports facilities provided by the Bolton Arena. Bolton Arena is a magnificent 14.3 million GBP sports and leisure complex sited in the Middlebrook leisure and retail park. It opened to the public in April 2001. Since then not only has the Arena demonstrated to the world it can host international events of the highest calibre, staging the Badminton competition of the 2002 Commonwealth Games but has become a major sporting facility for the local community. Bolton Arena is home to the EduKick England Football studies program.

The EduKick/BWFC International Academy English Immersion Football (Soccer) Program is a “Year-Long” or \"Half Year\" Academic Soccer Boarding School that incorporates full-time academic studies and daily high level technical football training overseen by Bolton Wanderers FC International Academy technical coaching staff. EduKick also offers \"Weekly\" & \"Monthly\" training options with BWFC International Academy throughout the year!

  • For native English Speaking students - 2 x 3 hour classroom based lessons per week for BTEC First Diploma in Sport Studies (see description of syllabus below)
  • For non-English Speaking students - 15 hours of EFL per week
  • 1 x 3 hour classroom based English Football/Culture seminar per week
  • 1 x 2 hour classroom based BTEC First Diploma assignment Workshop per week
  • Five (5) soccer coaching sessions (run by BWFC International Academy) per week
  • Two weekly training sessions conducted by EduKck England FA qualified coaches and Edukick England course director
  • Additional session per week available with local FA affiliated soccer club
  • Membership of the Bolton Arena Health & Fitness Club (Each player will be provided with a personal fitness plan)
  • 35 weeks of accommodation with carefully selected local host family
  • Entrance to all Boton Wanderers FC Premiership Home matches (as a guest of the BWFC IA)
